Quality Bike Servicing

Whether your bike needs a minor adjustment or a major overhaul, we promise that your bike will be in the best hands (we think Don is the best servicing dude in Wellington, just saying).

    Recommended only for basic bikes and kids bikes:

    • Set and Tune gears

    • Set and Tune Brakes

    • Check and Tighten all nuts and bolts to torque spec

    • True wheels

    • Test ride

  • $ 160

    Recommended for most bikes - a clean drivetrain is a happy drivetrain:

    • Degrease and clean Chain, Cluster and Chainrings

    • Set and Tune Gears

    • Set and Tune Brakes

    • Check and Tighten all bolts to torque spec

    • True Wheels

    • Test ride

    Full bike birthday!!

    • Bike wash and polish

    • Disassemble drivetrain, clean all components (cassette, chainrings, chain, derailure), reassemble with new lube.

    • Remove cranks inspect and replace bottom bracket if necessary

    • Check and clean headset

    • Clean and lube brake pistons, check and adjust brakes, replace pads and disc's if necessary

    • Check frame pivots and bearings, replace or relube as necessary

    • Check nuts and bolts are to correct torque

    • Test ride

  • $ 120

    E-Bike specific servicing.

    Due to the additional weight and technicality of E-bikes there is an added time component in the servicing.

    • Run diagnostic check and update any software if required.

    • Inspect /adjust brakes

    • Check and tune gears

    • Check for drivetrain wear

    • Check nuts and bolts

    • Test ride

    Any parts in servicing are an additional cost

  • Basic Fork Service - Includes seals

    $ 160

    • Disassemble fork

    • Clean fork lowers

    • Clean air and damper shafts

    • Replace foam rings and seals

    • Replace with correct grade and amount of oil

  • $ 35

    • Gear Servicing/Tuning - Adjust and tune gears - Set DR limits and adjust cable tension

  • Tune Gears from $35

    Replace Drivetrain $70

    BB replacement from $50

  • Punctures $20 including tube

    True Wheels $35

    Replace spoke and tension from $40 + spoke/s

    Wheel Build $110 (carbon rims $150, funky styles may cost extra)

  • Converted ebike installation - $ 250

    Specialist Tool Charge - $20

    Kids Bike assembly - $45

    Basic bike assembly from Box - $80

    Pack bike in box for shipping - $50

    Insurance Quote - $50 (in advance)

    Hourly Rate $100
